1. Introduction

FoxQuery ("we", "us", "our") is operated by JustFox. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use foxquery.com (the "Service"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection laws.

2. Data Controller

The data controller for the purposes of GDPR is JustFox. If you have questions about this policy or your data, please contact us via the JustFox website.

3. What Data We Collect

3.1 Data You Provide

When you use our tools, you may enter domain names, IP addresses, or email headers into input fields. This data is processed in real time to deliver results and is not stored on our servers after the request completes. We do not require account registration, and we do not collect names, email addresses, or other personal identifiers through our tools.

3.2 Automatically Collected Data

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. Cloudflare Web Analytics collects aggregated, anonymized metrics such as page views, referrers, and browser types. No individual user can be identified from this data.

3.3 Server Logs

Our infrastructure provider, Cloudflare, may temporarily log request metadata (such as IP addresses and timestamps) for security and abuse prevention purposes. These logs are managed by Cloudflare under their own privacy policy and are automatically deleted within a short retention period.

4. How We Use Data

We use the limited data described above for the following purposes:

  • To provide and operate our free diagnostic tools
  • To understand aggregate usage patterns and improve the Service
  • To prevent abuse, rate limiting violations, and malicious activity
  • To serve advertisements through Google AdSense (see Section 6)

5. Cookies

5.1 Our Cookies

FoxQuery itself does not set any cookies. Our analytics solution (Cloudflare Web Analytics) is cookie-free and does not track individual users across sessions or websites.

5.2 Third-Party Cookies

Google AdSense, which we use to display advertisements, may set cookies on your device to serve personalized or non-personalized ads depending on your consent preferences. These cookies are governed by Google's privacy policy. You can manage your ad personalization preferences at Google Ad Settings.

5.3 Managing Cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking third-party cookies will not affect the functionality of FoxQuery's tools, as they operate without cookies. However, it may affect how ads are displayed.

6. Advertising

We display advertisements through Google AdSense to support the free operation of FoxQuery. Google may collect data through its advertising technologies as described in the Google Privacy Policy. We do not share any user data with Google beyond what their scripts automatically collect.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your data to third parties. Data is only processed by:

  • Cloudflare - our infrastructure and analytics provider
  • Google AdSense - our advertising partner

Both partners operate under their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.

8. Data Retention

FoxQuery does not maintain a user database. Tool queries are processed in real time and are not stored. Cloudflare Web Analytics data is retained in aggregated, anonymized form. We do not retain any data that could identify individual users.

9. Your Rights Under GDPR

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights:

  • Right of access - You may request information about data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification - You may request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Right to erasure - You may request deletion of your data.
  • Right to restriction - You may request that we limit processing of your data.
  • Right to data portability - You may request a copy of your data in a structured format.
  • Right to object - You may object to the processing of your data.

Since FoxQuery does not collect or store personal data, these rights are largely satisfied by design. If you have concerns or wish to exercise any of these rights regarding data processed by our third-party partners, please contact us and we will assist you.

10. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption on all connections, strict Content Security Policy headers, and rate limiting. Our tools are served from Cloudflare's global edge network, which provides built-in DDoS protection and traffic encryption.

11. Children's Privacy

FoxQuery is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Since we do not collect personal data from any users, no age-specific data is processed.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
